    Sun Pharma’s net profit fell 37 percent

    New Delhi: Pharmaceutical company Sun Pharma’s integrated net profit fell 37.12 percent to Rs 399.84 crore in the January-March quarter. The main reason for this is his one-time major loss.

    This resulted in a net profit of Rs 635.88 crore for the company in the fourth quarter of the previous financial year 2018-19. In the information given to the stock market, the company said that its consolidated income during the period was Rs 8,184.94 crore. This resulted in a revenue of Rs 7,163.92 crore for the company in the same period of the last financial year.

    The company incurred a one-time loss of Rs 260.64 crore in the March quarter. The net profit of the company stood at Rs 3,764.93 crore for the entire financial year 2019-20. This figure was Rs 2,665.42 crore in the same period of the previous financial year. The company’s income during this period was Rs 32,837.50 crore, which was Rs 29,065.91 crore in 2018-19.
