New Delhi: Ola Electric Mobility (OEM) on Wednesday said it has acquired Amsterdam-based Attergo. The move will help the Indian company to enter the global premium electric two-wheeler market. Ola Electric has not disclosed the price of the deal, although the company said it aims to introduce its electric two-wheeler in India in 2021.
The acquisition of Attergo will add to OEM’s engineering and design capabilities. Attergo has developed a fully electric ‘Episcooter’, using swappable high energy density batteries and delivering speeds up to 240 kilometers.
