New Delhi: The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki has launched a new facelifted version of its popular car Maruti Ignis in the domestic market by updating it with BS6 engine. Adorned with a very attractive look and strong engine capacity, the starting price of this small car has been fixed at Rs 4.83 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has made several changes to the new Ignis, making it far superior to the previous model.

It depends on the different variants, how much the price of which variant has been increased. The company has launched this car in four different variants. Which includes Sigma, Delta, Zeta and Alpha variants.
The price of its base model Sigma variant has increased by about Rs 9,000. At the same time, the price of mid-model Delta has increased by Rs 25,000, the price of Zeta variant is Rs 5,000 and the price of the lowest Alpha variant has increased. There has been an increase of up to Rs 4,000 in this variant. The company has made many changes in this car, which are seen from the exterior to the interior.
Engine: In the new Maruti Ignis, the company has used BS6 standard 1.2 liter capacity petrol engine, which generates 83bhp power and 113Nm torque. It includes a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. At the same time, the company has included a 5-speed automatic gearbox in its top variant. In this car, the company has also taken good care of the safety features. It features airbags, speed alerts, seat belt reminders, ABS, EBD, rear park sensors as standard.
