Awareness program was organized on the occasion of the 10th Foundation Day of Women Power Line-1090, under “Mission Shakti-Phase 3.0”, the Women and Child Security Organization (1090) organized community participation and public awareness for women’s safety. The objective of this community participation and public awareness program is to ‘bring together various institutions, men and women of the society for women’s safety, respect and self-reliance and come together to create a conducive environment for women’s safety’.
Many state level publicity programs were launched/unveiled and ‘flag off’ by the chief guest of the program, Shri Mukul Goyal, IPS, Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, whose details are as follows –
Launch/Unveil-
Unveiling of pamphlet of Women’s Security/1090 and distribution to Village Praharis, NSA, Nehru Yuva Kendras – Under Mission Shakti Abhiyan, Gram Praharis, National Service Scheme (NSS) and Nehru Yuva Kendra (NHS) in all the districts of the state Through NYK) 51 lakh pamphlets/cards related to the promotion of women’s safety/1090 are to be distributed. Inaugurating it today, the above cards were distributed to the chowkidars, representatives of NSS and NYK from Barabanki/Sitapur/Rae Bareilly/Unnao/Hardoi districts.
Unveiling the cards of women’s safety/1090 and distribution to the security guards- The security guards working in various public/private institutions/banks/parks of the state were prepared and distributed cards related to women’s safety/1090 to make them aware and distributed. Unveiling of posters and short films in English related to women’s safety/1090 and distribution to corporates – To make various corporates aware of the state, posters and short films based on women’s safety in English are being prepared and sent online.
Unveiling of WhatsApp messages to be sent to Resident Welfare Association related to women’s safety/1090 – WhatsApp messages are being sent to various housing societies of the state to make them aware.
Unveiling of Bulk Messages – Messages are being sent in bulk from 1090 to make the general public aware of the state.
Roadways Bus Ticket Branding Unveiled – Branding of Women Safety/1090 has been done on the tickets prevalent in Roadways buses.
Unveiling of stickers to be pasted on vehicles like Truck, Bus, Ola, Uber, Auto etc.- 1.2 lakh stickers to be pasted on vehicles like trucks, buses, Ola, Uber, Auto etc. operated in the state have been prepared. which were also unveiled.
Flagoff-
LED vans – Under the Safe City project, LED vans are being operated by the Director General of Police for the promotion of 1090 in all the districts and divisional headquarters of the state. Vans was flagged off. These LED vans are being operated through the Information and Public Relations Department in all 75 districts and 18 divisional headquarters of the state according to the prescribed route chart for 8 hours a day for the promotion of women’s safety/1090.
UPSRTC buses – 200 buses operating in far flung areas of the state have been branded. Which have been flagged off.
Branded commercial private vehicles – trucks, Ola, Uber, Auto, etc. vehicles are also being branded through stickers. Which were flagged off.
Apart from this, digital wall painting in 30 thousand gram panchayats of the state, display boards in Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Noida and Meerut, public awareness through street plays at block levels for wide publicity of Women Power Line-1090 under Safe City project. Programs like this are also being started from today’s holy day. People present in today’s program were also made aware through street plays and short films prepared for publicity.
While congratulating everyone on the occasion of 10th Foundation Day of 1090, Chief Guest Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh has appreciated the efforts being made by the Women and Child Protection Organization for the safety of women.
