New Delhi: According to the Reserve Bank of India, there are 15 days of holidays in the banks in the month of July due to weekly holidays and different festivals. There are festivals like Rath Yatra, Bhanu Jayanti, Bakrid and Ker Puja in July. Because of this, there will be no work in the bank on the day of the festival.
The first bank holiday in the month of July will be on the 4th. This day is Sunday. After this, banks will be closed on 10 and 11 July due to Saturday and Sunday. The festival of Rath Yatra is on 12th July. There will be a holiday in banks on the day of Rath Yatra, one of the most important festivals of Odisha. On the other hand, banks will remain closed in Sikkim on July 13 due to Bhanu Jayanti.
There will be a holiday in the banks of Sikkim on 14th July due to Durukpa Teschi festival. Banks will remain closed in Uttarakhand on July 16 due to Rahela. On July 17, there will be a holiday in the banks of Tripura and Manipur due to the costly worship. Banks across the country will remain closed as July 18 is a Sunday. On July 19, there will be a holiday in the banks of Sikkim on the occasion of Guru Rimpoche Thungakar.
Bakrid is on 20th July. After this, banks will remain closed on 24th and 25th July due to weekly holiday. On July 31, there will be no work in the bank due to Kera Puja in Tripura.
