Finance Desk – During a lively podcast conversation, investment guru Nikhil Kamath shared some valuable tips with rapper Badshah on smart investing. Badshah, curious about where to invest Rs 3 crore, got some savvy advice from Kamath.

Kamath suggested putting money into the renewable energy sector, like solar energy companies, electric vehicle makers, and battery manufacturers. He explained that as the world shifts away from fossil fuels, this sector is set to grow, boosted by government incentives.

He also advised being cautious about entering crowded markets and recommended choosing industries that are expected to expand significantly over the next decade.

Kamath warned against investing just to be near celebrities, as seen in Bollywood, where many invest for glamor but see little return.

Kamath emphasized doing thorough research before diving into any investment and cautioned against pursuing businesses solely based on passion. He noted that areas driven by passion often have high competition and lower success rates.
