Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the ‘Uttar Pradesh Start-up Fund’ under the Information Technology and Start-up Policy-2017 of the State Government at his official residence here today. On this occasion, an MoU was exchanged with the state government and SIDBI for setting up a start-up fund in the presence of the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister provided a check of Rs 15 crore to SIDBI Chairman and Managing Director as first installment.
The Chief Minister said that the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi have encouraged the start-up culture. The Prime Minister believes that the youth of the country should become job creators. Uttar Pradesh is a state with immense potential for start-up culture. There is a need to work in view of every sector like agriculture, health, education, IT, MSME etc. Through this, we can provide employment to a large number of people.
On this occasion, Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Dinesh Sharma said in his address that the start-up program is an important program to connect the youth of the state with employment and to speed up the development of the state. The state government will provide all possible support for the establishment of start-ups and incubators and creation of eco-systems compatible to it.
