    New Delhi: The government is preparing to offer bailout packages for telecom companies affected by the Supreme Court’s decision on AGR. According to sources, the committee of secretaries will meet this week.

    The government is preparing a bailout package for telecom companies. Due to which the committee of secretaries will meet this week. This will provide relief to companies affected by the decision on AGR. It is possible to consider 3-4 options to give relief to telecom companies. Companies will get cheaper loans from the USO fund of Rs 50,000 crore. 17,000 crores received from companies will also join this fund.

    Companies will get time to pay AGR. Companies can get 10 years. Interest waiver on interest, penalty will also be possible. The government can also file an affidavit in the Supreme Court. The government wants at least 3 companies in the sector.
