    Stock market closed down, Sensex fell by about 97 points

    Mumbai: The stock market closed down on Wednesday. Today where the Sensex fell by about 97.30 points to close at the level of 33507.92. At the same time, the Nifty lost 32.85 points to close at the level of 9881.15. Apart from this, today on the BSE, a total of 2720 companies were traded, out of which about 1433 shares gained sharply and 1125 stocks closed down. There was no difference in the share price of 162 companies. At the same time, the rupee closed at a level of 76.15 rupees against the dollar, down by 6 paise.

    Maruti Suzuki shares closed at Rs 5,726.20, a rise of Rs 224. Bharti Airtel stock closed at Rs 563.45, up by Rs 19. Wipro shares closed at Rs 217.80, up nearly Rs 5. Axis Bank shares closed at Rs 389.60, up nearly Rs 8. IndusInd Bank shares closed at Rs 491.15, up nearly Rs 9.

    Bharti Infratel’s stock closed at Rs 206.25, down nearly Rs 10. Kotak Mahindra shares lost nearly Rs 33 to close at Rs 1,243.80. Shree Cement shares closed at Rs 21,635.40, down by Rs 476. ITC shares closed at Rs 181.20, down nearly Rs 4. The Power Grid Corporation stock closed at Rs 159.50, down nearly Rs 3.
