New Delhi: Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA), on Saturday asked vehicle manufacturers to send only the BS-6 emission standard to the dealers as the Supreme Court has given the deadline for sale and registration of vehicles with BS-4 standard. Has refused to extend beyond April 1.
FADA said the vehicle market has been down for more than a year. According to the current demand situation, it is now a big challenge for the dealers to fully sell the stock of the remaining BS-4 emission standard vehicles by March 31, 2020.
FADA President Ashish Kale said in a statement, “FADA appeals to all vehicle manufacturers to send only fully BS-6 emission standard vehicles to dealers and BS-4 standard vehicles with immediate effect to dealers. Stop billing. ”
In a letter to its member dealers, FADA has advised that it plans to liquidate the remaining BS-4 emission standard vehicles with them by 31 March 2020. It is noteworthy that the sale of BS-IV emission standard vehicles will be banned in the country after April 1.
