New Delhi: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has presented her budget. The Finance Minister has increased the import duty on mobile phones and chargers imported from abroad in the budget. This can soon see an increase in their prices. Apart from this, in the budget, discounts have been given on import of gold and silver by offering women. In such a situation, gold and silver can be cheap. At the same time, products related to steel and copper can also be cheap. Apart from this, auto parts imported from abroad will also become expensive.
Announcing in the budget, the Finance Minister said that the duty on mobile phone components coming from abroad has been increased to 2.5 percent. Which will increase their price. The custom duty on gold and silver has been reduced by 2.5 percent. Custom duty on cotton imported from abroad has been increased from zero to 5 percent. In such a situation, foreign will become expensive. In addition, the duty on cut and polished cubic zirconia and synthetic cut and polished stone has been increased from 7.5 per cent to 15 per cent. In such a situation, gems and jewelery will become expensive.
