    Infosys net profit up 22% to Rs 5195 crore in June quarter

    Infosys net profit up 22% to Rs 5195 crore in June quarter

    Infosys, the country’s second largest IT company, has released its June quarter results on Wednesday, July 14. The company’s net profit in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2022 grew 22.7 per cent year-on-year to Rs 5195 crore. The company’s net profit in the same quarter last year was Rs 4233 crore.

    On a quarterly basis, the net profit of Infosys in the March 2021 quarter was Rs 5078 crore.

    The company’s consolidated earnings grew 18 per cent year-on-year to Rs 28986 crore. A year ago it was Rs 23665 crore. On a quarterly basis, it increased by 6 per cent to Rs 27896 crore from Rs 26311 crore.

    If we look at the company’s earnings in dollars, on a quarter-on-quarter basis, it has increased by 4.7 percent from $3613 million to $3781 million.
