Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Honda has launched the new bike Honda Shine BS6 in the Indian market by updating the range of its vehicles to the new standard.
The company has fixed the starting price of this new update Honda Shine BS6 at Rs 67,857. The company has not only updated the engine of this bike but has also added a 5 speed gearbox, which is a major change.
According to the information, this new updated bike will soon start reaching the dealerships across the country. In the new Honda Shine BS6, the company has used a 125 cc capacity engine.
In this bike, the company has used its traditional Honda Eco Technology (HET) and Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) technology. Apart from this, Inhash Smart Power (eSP) has also been given in it.
The company claims that due to the new (PGM-FI) technology, the Honda Shine BS6 will give 14 percent more mileage than the previous model. Apart from this, the company has included a 5 speed gearbox in this bike, which was only a 4 speed gearbox in the previous BS4 model.
Although no information about the power out of its engine has been available yet, the previous model used to generate 10bhp power and torque of 11Nm.
In this bike, the company has given black alloy wheels, this bike comes with both drum and disc brake system.
The size of the new Honda Shine BS6 has also changed compared to the previous model. This bike is 19mm longer than the previous model, in addition to this it also gets 5mm more ground clearance. Which enables it to run all the way. Its seat is also about 27mm longer than the previous model, which is suitable for comfortable travel.
The bike is available in 4 colors, including gray, black, red and blue. With this bike, the company is offering a total warranty of 6 years. Including a 3-year standard warranty and a 3-year extended warranty.
The engine start stop technology given in this bike improves the performance of this bike even more. In the Indian market, this bike directly competes with Hero Splendor BS6, which has been launched recently.
