New Delhi: On Wednesday, the price of gold has fallen by Rs 358 to Rs 46 thousand per 10 gram (Gold price today) in Delhi’s Sarafa Bazar. According to HDFC Securities, gold has now gone up to Rs 45,959 per 10 grams. In the previous trading session, gold had closed at Rs 46,313 per 10 grams. Silver also rose by Rs 151 to Rs 69,159 per kg (Silver price today), against the previous closing price of Rs 69,008 per kg.
On Wednesday, gold prices fell by Rs 148 to Rs 46,307 per 10 grams at the bullion market in the national capital due to selling in global markets and an improvement in the exchange rate of the rupee. According to HDFC Securities, gold had closed at Rs 46,455 per 10 gram in the previous trading session. Silver also fell by Rs 886 to Rs 68,676 per kg, against the previous closing price of Rs 69,562 per kg. HDFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodities) Tapan Patel said, “After Tuesday’s sell-off in the global gold price and the rupee exchange rate correction, the spot price of 24-carat gold fell by Rs 148 in Delhi.” The exchange rate of the rupee strengthened by 11 paise against. In the international market, gold remained almost flat at $ 1,807 an ounce while silver also remained unchanged at $ 27.63 an ounce.
