In a bid to ease the financial burden on farmers and promote agricultural growth, the government has introduced the Kisan Credit Card Scheme. This initiative, administered by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), offers farmers access to low-interest rate loans, ensuring a smoother journey for them in the world of agriculture.

Farmers often find themselves trapped in a cycle of high-interest loans, leading to mounting debts. Recognizing this predicament, the Kisan Credit Card Scheme aims to provide a lifeline to farmers by offering credit cards tailored to their needs, facilitating easy and affordable loans.

Application Process For Kisan Credit Card:

    • Farmers need to visit the official website of the bank that offers the Kisan Credit Card facility.
    • On the bank’s website, locate and select the ‘Kisan Credit Card’ option. This will direct applicants to the specific section dedicated to this beneficial scheme.
    • Fill in essential details such as their name, mobile number, and other relevant information.

The next step involves uploading crucial documents, including:

    • Documents related to farming land
    • Passport size photograph
    • Address proof
    • Aadhar card
    • PAN card

Once all the details and documents are successfully uploaded, applicants can submit their applications.

Farmers can expect to receive their Kisan Credit Cards within 15 days of application submission.

Documents Required For Kisan Credit Card:

Farmers must have the following documents ready:

    • Documents related to farming land
    • Passport size photo
    • Address proof
    • Aadhar card
    • PAN card

Applying for a Kisan Credit Card is a simple yet impactful step towards a brighter and more sustainable future for our farming communities.
