New Delhi: The Cabinet Committee on Security Affairs i.e. CCS has today approved the purchase of 24 MH-60R and 6 Apache attack helicopters from the US. American company Lockheed Martin manufactures MH-60R multi-role helicopters.
The deal will be valued at $ 2.5 billion for the 24 MH-60R purchase. At the same time, the deal of 6 AH-64E Apache Attack Helicopter will be of 93 million US dollars.
