Meerut : The world’s largest Science-based Ayurveda company Dabur India Limited has launched a unique campaign, ‘Dabur Sanitize Germs Protection Soap – Suraksha Hai Zaruri’, in Meerut to create awareness about the importance of hand-washing during this pandemic.
Mr. Ajay Singh Parihar, Senior General Manager-Marketing, Dabur India Ltd, said, “The initiative aims to creating awareness about the importance of washing hands regularly particularly when we are facing a threat like COVID19. The importance of washing hands and its imperative need is now a well-established discourse but sometimes due to lack of resources and support, access to such sanitization becomes a challenge. This becomes more critical and important with the sudden rise in COVID19 cases in the last few months. To promote hand hygiene, we took the initiative by launching ‘Dabur Germs Protection soap – Suraksha Hai Zaruri’ Campaign.”
Under this campaign, Dabur has set up 6 hand washing stations outside the prominent hospitals of Meerut. The hand washing stations are placed outside: Santosh Hospital-Kamlapur, Lokpriya Hospital-Panchsheel Colony, Anand Hospital-Ajanta Colony, Bharat Hospital-Telgarhi, Ajay Hospital-Shiv Shakti Vihar and Radha Govind Hospital-Shiv Shakti Vihar. Dabur is also providing free sample to the visitors while creating awareness about the importance of washing hands.
“Hospitals are very critical places. It is very important to sanitize or wash your hands before entering any medical place. Keeping this in mind, we have installed hand-washing stations outside the prominent hospitals. Proper and regular hand washing remains the most effective way of removing germs and harmful bacteria from our hands. This prevents the spread of diseases and keeps your environment safe, fresh, and clean. Keeping this in mind, in a responsible step forward, Dabur has taken the initiative to address the issues of accessibility and availability of Hand Washing Stations in Meerut.”Mr. Parihar Added.
“We are excited to be a part of a social cause in Meerut through our ‘Dabur Sanitize Germs Protection Soap – Suraksha Hai Zaruri’ campaign, a first of its kind initiative. Dabur has always stood for solidarity and we feel such an initiative would definitely help people remain tension-free when they are visiting their loved ones at the hospitals. As part of the campaign, hand washing stations have been created free of cost, so that people can wash their hands to protect themselves from this deadly virus,” Mr. Rajat Mathur, Head- Consumer Marketing, Dabur India Ltd, said.
