Q2 2020 recorded a 48 per cent decline in smartphone shipments to 17.3 million units, according to market analyst firm Canalys. New Delhi: HDFC Bank reported a 19.58 percent in net profit to Rs 6,658.62 crore for the June ended quarter from Rs 5,568.16 crore in the same quarter of the previous year. Net interest income, that is the difference between interest earned and interest expended, grew by 17.8 percent in the April-June period to Rs 15,665.4 crore from Rs 13,294.3 crore last year. New Delhi: IT firm HCL Technologies posted a 31.7 percent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 2,925 crore for the June ended quarter. For the April-June 2019 period, the company registered a net profit of Rs 2,220 crore. The company’s revenue grew 8.6 percent to Rs 17,841 crore in June quarter from Rs 16,425 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
