The company’s founder and chairman Kamesh Goyal had told that equity capital would be used to follow the guidelines of IRDA and keep the foreign stake in the limit.

According to IRDA, Digit is one of the general insurance companies that is growing rapidly. Its premium income in the financial year 2018-19 was $ 172 million. In the current financial year, Goyal said, this figure could cross $ 32.5 billion.
