    Stock market picks up, Sensex rises 499 points

    Mumbai: There was a day of buying in the stock market today, the Sensex gained 498.65 points to close at 35414.45 points. At the same time, the Nifty gained 127.95 points to close at the level of 10430.05. Apart from this, today on the BSE, a total of 2906 companies were traded, out of which about 1503 shares closed up and 1276 shares declined. At the same time, there was no difference in the share price of 127 companies. At the same time, the rupee closed 9 paise down at 75.59 against the dollar this evening.

    Axis Bank shares closed at Rs 433.25, up nearly Rs 27. Bajaj Finserv shares closed at Rs 6,169.35, up nearly Rs 324. UPL shares closed at Rs 446.95, up nearly Rs 22. HDFC shares closed at Rs 1,835.15, up nearly Rs 81. Bajaj Finance shares rose by Rs 123 to close at Rs 2,953.90.

    Mahindra & Mahindra’s stock closed at Rs 498.95, down by Rs 12. NTPC shares closed at Rs 93.60, down Rs 2 each. Nestle’s stock closed at Rs 16,798.85, down Rs 376. Cipla’s stock closed down by Rs 13 to close at Rs 627.10. Larsen’s stock closed at Rs 924.30, down nearly Rs 19.
