    Seven of Sensex’s top 10 companies reduced market capitalization

    New Delhi: The market capitalization (market cap) of seven of the top 10 companies of the Sensex decreased by Rs 78,127.74 crore last week. HDFC Bank was the biggest loser in this.

    Among the top 10 companies, only Reliance Industries Ltd., Hindustan Unilever Ltd. And HDFC was in profit. HDFC Bank’s market capitalization fell by Rs 28,391.71 crore to Rs 5,39,305.38 crore in the business week ended June 12. Indian Airtel’s market valuation declined by Rs 13,638.89 crore to Rs 3,05,456.66 crore.

    On the other hand, Kotak Mahindra Bank’s MCAP decreased by Rs 11,882.72 crore to Rs 2,53,197.91 crore. ICICI Bank’s market capitalization declined by Rs 8,411.45 crore to Rs 2,22,918.94 crore and ITC’s MCAP decreased by Rs 7,313.87 crore to Rs 2,38,469.29 crore. Infosys ‘market valuation declined by Rs 4,961.86 crore to Rs 2,94,772.86 crore last week and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS)’ s MAP declined by Rs 3,527.24 crore to Rs 7,64,998.67 crore.

    On the other hand, RIL’s market capitalization increased by Rs 5,198.31 crore to Rs 10,07,204.41 crore. HDFC’s valuation increased by Rs 4,555.28 crore to Rs 3,10,486.85 crore. Hindustan Unilever Ltd. MAP of Rs 4,464.15 crore increased to Rs 4,94,862.23 crore.
