    Sensex rises 259 points; Nifty closes at 11600

    The stock market fell for the second consecutive day

    Domestic stock market started in the midst of mixed global cues, but later it rose well. The Nifty crossed the 11600 level in business. Both the Sensex and Nifty index closed up. At the end of trading, the Sensex has gained 259 points and closed at the level of 39302.85. At the same time, the Nifty has risen by 83 points and has closed at the level of 11605. In today’s business, there has been a lot of buying in auto and pharma stocks. However, there has been pressure on public sector banks. Mahindra and Mahindra and Bajaj Auto have been the top gainers of today. While IndusInd Bank is the top loser. Earlier on Tuesday, the market closed with an increase. Talking about global signals, the major US markets gained on Tuesday. Whereas today a mixed trend has been seen in Asian markets.

    In today’s trade, 18 stocks are seen in 30 of the Sensex 30. Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Sun Pharma, HDFC Bank, Infosys and L&T are the top gainers of today. At the same time, IndusInd Bank, NTPC, SBI, ONGC, Airtel and Axis Bank have been the top losers today. 9 out of 11 major indices on the Nifty have closed in the green mark. Pharma index is up more than 2 percent and auto index is up 1.5 percent. Bank index is up around 1 percent and financial index is up by 0.83 percent. The PSU bank index closed in red. FMCG, IT, metal and realty have closed in the green mark.
