New Delhi: State Bank of India has brought a new card SBI Rupe (RuPay) JCB Platinum Contactless Debit Card for its customers. This card has been launched by SBI, National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) in association with JCB on its RuPay network. It comes with a dual interface feature, through which customers will be able to conduct both contact and contactless transactions in the domestic market. With this card, customers will also be able to transact at ATMs and POS terminals all over the world under the JCB network. They can also make online purchases from JCB’s associate international e-commerce vendors using this card.
The bank said in the statement that this card rupees also supports transactions based on offline wallet, which also provides an additional payment medium within the card.
Customers can load offline wallet and use it for bus, metro etc. transactions and payment with vendors. Customers can use this card to get attractive discounts and offers on the purchase of top brands in India and international markets.
The statement said that SBI Rupees JCB Platinum Contactless Debit Card will reduce the bank’s cash handling efforts of the customers and allow them to pay on one tap.
