The company recently introduced the Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) trim for the entry-level Kwid and the new model Tiber. Apart from this, there are manual transmission versions of these vehicles. The company is now set to further strengthen its product portfolio.
“We will soon introduce a completely new turbo engine (petrol) duster,” said Venkataram Mamilapalle, chief executive officer (CEO) and managing director of Reno India Operations in India. It will be the most powerful SUV in its segment. ”He added that in addition to this the company is preparing to bring completely new products to the Indian market. Venkataram said India is one of the important markets for Reno. It is among the top 10 global markets for the company in terms of total sales over the past few years.
