Praj recognizes the extraordinary courage and efforts of all those who put themselves in harm’s way to combat the pandemic. This includes medical and health care professionals, sanitation workers, the police force and personnel in essential services such as utilities, food and agriculture, telecommunications, etc.

As a corporate citizen, Praj understands the need of the hour to show its solidarity to the major initiative undertaken by the government by way of setting up PM CARES Fund to help combat Covid 19. The company is honoured to respond positively to PM’s appeal by contributing Rs. 1.01 cr. to the fund.

“While the COVID-19 pandemic continues to take a heavy toll on families, communities and nations across the world, it is heartening to see private contributors, organizations and associations respond positively to strengthen the PM’s hands,” noted Pramod Chaudhari, Executive Chairman, Praj Industries. “We’re all in this together and can only succeed if we do our best jointly. We consider it our responsibility to serve society to help overcome the crisis. We are confident that with collective efforts we shall surmount this challenge under the PM’s leadership and return to normalcy sooner than later,” added Mr. Chaudhari further.
