MUMBAI: The news of corona virus case in Delhi caused huge panic in the stock market on Monday. The condition was that the Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensex fell to 939 points from its upper level during trading. However, the Sensex later fell 153.27 points (0.40%) to close at the level of 38,144.02. At the same time, the Nifty lost 69.00 points (0.62%) to close at 11,132.75. The global stock markets are already in decline due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
In day trading, the Sensex touched an upper level of 39,083.17 and a low of 37,785.99, while the Nifty touched a high of 11,433.00 and a low of 11,036.25.
Around 2:30 pm, the Union Health Ministry confirmed two cases of corona virus in India. The first case is of Delhi, while the second case is of Telangana. With this confirmation of the center, there was a cry in the market. The condition was that the Sensex fell from its upper level of 39,083.17 to a low of 37,785.99 at 3.13 pm. But later the buying gained strength and it closed down by 153 points.
