New Delhi: If there is any transaction related to banking, it should be settled before Saturday, because it will be affected for about 14 hours from Saturday night to Sunday afternoon. According to the announcement made by the central bank RBI a few days ago, the National Electronic Fund Transfer (NEFT) service will be interrupted for about 14 hours from Saturday midnight to Sunday afternoon. According to the information tweeted by the central bank, funds transfer facility will not be available through NEFT due to technological upgradation during this period.

According to the tweet by the central bank RBI, NEFT service will be interrupted from 00:01 pm to 14:00 pm on 23 April 2021. NEFT is a centralized payment system of RBI which is operated by RBI and through this, funds can be transferred in near real-time to the beneficiary account.

According to information received by the RBI, online fund transfer services will be closed for 14 hours on May 23, 2021 only through NEFT. During this time, users can use real time gross settlement (RTGS) services to transfer funds. However, small funds can not be transferred through RTGS as the minimum limit for sending money through this is Rs 2 lakh.
