New Delhi: Car manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has today launched its popular compact SUV 2020 Maruti Brezza in the domestic market with new petrol engine. This SUV was first introduced by the company during the Auto Expo in the past. The company has fixed the initial price of this SUV at just Rs 7.34 lakh. The new Maruti Brezza Petrol has been introduced in a total of 8 variants, while the price of its top variant has been fixed at Rs 11.40 lakh.
Till now, the Maruti Brezza was available only in the market with a diesel engine, whose production company has officially stopped. Now you will get this only with petrol engine. The company has made several major changes from the design of the SUV to the engine, making it the best in the segment. In its previous model, the company used a 1.3-liter capacity DDiS diesel engine, which was sourced from Fiat. This engine has also been used by the company in its Ciaz sedan.
In the new Maruti Brezza, the company has used the traditional 1.5-liter K-series engine, which generates 105hp power and 138Nm torque. It uses a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission gearbox. Apart from this, the company has also used smart hybrid technology in this SUV which improves its mileage.
In the new petrol Maruti Brezza, the company has used the redesigned grille in addition to the redesigned LED headlamps and daytime running lights (DRL’s). This SUV also has a 16 inch dual tone alloy wheel, Fox skid plate, large fog lamps, LED taillights. Which gives its exterior a more sporty look.
