New Delhi: The price of non-subsidized LPG gas cylinders has been cut. After which the price of 14.2 kg gas cylinders without subsidies in Delhi and Mumbai has been cut by Rs 53.

According to the revised rate chart published on the website of Indian Oil, now people will have to pay less money to buy gas cylinders. The decision to reduce gas cylinders will benefit customers who buy non-subsidized cylinders. At the same time, traders who use commercial cylinders are also relieved. Please tell that between August 2019 to January 2020, the price was increased six times in a row. During this period, LPG cylinders became nearly 50 percent costlier.

At the same time, the prices of non-subsidized 14 kg Indane gas were increased in the metro cities soon after the Delhi Assembly elections. The price of non-subsidized Indane gas cylinder in Delhi (increased by Rs. 144.50) to Rs. 858.50, in Kolkata (with Rs. 149) by Rs. 896.00, in Mumbai the price of Non-subsidized Indane gas cylinder (by Rs. 147 increased by Rs. 881). There was no increase in the price of non-subsidized Indane gas cylinders from January 1, 2020 onwards.

It is known that the price of LPG is revised on the first date of every month. However, this time it took more than two weeks. Officials said that because the huge increase was to be made, it took time to get the necessary approvals.
