Car manufacturer Jeep officially launched the BS6 version of its SUV compass. With the launch, the price information of this SUV was also revealed. However, compared to the BS4 model of this car, the price of the BS6 version of the compass has been increased from Rs 89,000 to Rs 1.38 lakh.
The new BS6 Jeep Compass comes with 1.4-liter turbo-petrol and 2.0-liter diesel engines. It has options such as 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual-clutch automatic and 9-speed automatic gearbox.
Talking about its price according to the model, its ex-showroom price in Delhi starts from Rs 16.49 lakh, which goes up to Rs 24.99 lakh. The price of its initial petrol version has increased by Rs 89,000. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of its BS6 diesel engine starts at Rs 17.99 lakhs in Delhi. And this price is Rs 1.38 lakh more than its old BS4 model.
Jeep has upgraded the compass to BS6 as well as discontinued its entry-level sport variant. With the discontinuation of the Sport variant, now the Sport Plus variant has become the base variant or the starting model. Apart from this, the company has also discontinued Longitude Longitude (O) and Limited Limited variants. Now the Sport Plus, Longitude, Longitude Plus and Limited Plus variants of this car are available.
