Coimbatore: Indian Bank has commenced its first batch of Business Mentoring Program – MSME Prerana on 12.10.2020 for Entrepreneurs of Coimbatore, Salem, Tiruppur, Erode & Namakkal. Shri K Ramachandran, Executive Director, Indian Bank inaugurated the first batch and addressed all the participants through video conferencing.
Shri K Ramachandran said, “Indian Bank has taken its first step to think from an entrepreneurial prospective as this program aims at developing their expertise on various managerial and financial skills to handle business professionally besides an insight to various initiatives taken by GOI / RBI / bank for MSME sector. Unlike large corporate with Rs. 500 or Rs. 1000 Cr turnover, they don’t have expertise / specialist like chartered Accountant, Cost accountant to manage their business. Indian Bank had tied up with Knowledge partner M/s Poornatha and Co to help MSME Entrepreneurs to make structured financial decisions to manage their business professionally during this crisis time”.
In the inaugural session, Shri A. Gnesaraman , Field General Manager, Coimbatore and Shri Sudhakar Rao, GM (MSME), Corporate Office also addressed the participant and spoke about various schemes rolled out by Indian Bank to support MSME.
The participants are actively participating in the interactive sessions taking advantage in digital mode using Polls, Case study, Chat box & break out rooms. Entrepreneurs are happy to receive this program to improve their knowledge & skill of business / financial management in this critical time.
The program MSME Prerana shall be implemented PAN India basis in almost all major local languages to extend business mentoring support to Entrepreneurs in different parts of the country.
