New Delhi: PM Narendra Modi on Thursday addressed 30 countries through virtual conferences regarding the corona virus epidemic. On the occasion of the inauguration of India Global Week, the PM said that India is fighting the battle against the Corona epidemic with all seriousness. He said that India is seeing signs of improvement in the economy amidst adverse conditions of the corona epidemic. This epidemic is not only health but also economically fatal.
He said that India is the powerhouse of countries that learn and teach from other countries, India has made considerable progress in many fields. India is the powerhouse of Talent. It is always ready to contribute and learn anytime. History has shown that India has overcome every challenge whether it is social or economic. Whether it is doctors, IT professionals, engineers or workforce in other fields, Indians have excelled everywhere.
The Prime Minister said, it is only natural to talk about revival in this time of difficulty. Global resurgence and annexation of India are equally natural. We believe that India will play an important role in the global revival.
He said, during the last six years, India has done well in areas like GST including total financial inclusion, housing and infrastructure, ease of doing business, bold tax reform. Thanks to technology, each penny has reached the beneficiaries directly. This relief provided includes free LPG, cash in bank accounts, free food grains to millions.
