New Delhi, Oct 30, 2025: Amway President and CEO Michael Nelson visited India this week to mark 10 years of the company’s manufacturing journey in the country – a milestone that reinforces India’s strategic importance in Amway’s global operations as one of only three global manufacturing hubs for Amway, alongside the US and China. This marks Nelson’s maiden visit to India since assuming the President and CEO role, underscoring the country’s pivotal role in Amway’s global growth strategy and reaffirming the company’s long-standing commitment to inclusive and sustainable progress in the region.

“India stands at the very core of Amway’s global vision,” said Mr Michael Nelson, President and CEO, Amway. “It is a powerhouse of potential driven by its digitally empowered population, a dynamic and young workforce, and thriving gig economy. For Amway, India is at the cusp of transformation and to drive this change, we continue to make significant investments, focusing on key priorities – strengthening our values and culture, accelerating product innovation to meet evolving consumer needs, and deepening distributor partnerships through education and training. With its rapid economic rise and increasing focus on holistic wellbeing, India is poised to be a key driver of our global growth. The country’s vibrancy, diversity, energy, and entrepreneurial spirit perfectly align with Amway’s purpose of Helping People Live Better Lives through economic empowerment and wellbeing. As we celebrate a decade of local manufacturing, we are proud of what we have built and even more inspired by the extraordinary opportunities that lie ahead.”

The INR 100 crore investment is directed toward elevating distributor and customer experience by expanding the company’s physical presence and transforming existing stores into dynamic hubs of engagement with redesigned layouts, dedicated training zones, and enhanced service experiences. It will also be focused on empowering distributors through structured programs on product knowledge, quality assurance standards, and certification to strengthen customer engagement and support entrepreneurial success.
