With Coronavirus cases increasing daily in India, startups have shown their ‘human’ side of their businesses by introducing important precautionary measures for their employees and customer safety.
Here we present a list of startups who have set an example to other organizations that businesses can continue with proper planning amid coronavirus outbreak:

    1) DB Digital, which is supported by the Dainik Bhaskar Group has stopped all non-critical travelling of their employees and workers by allowing them to work from home to prevent the spread of COVID-19. The company has also provided N95 masks and hand sanitizers to all of its employees and extended medical support for those who require it. The startup company has also introduced audio alerts for its employees to wash hands and drink enough waters on a timely basis.

    2) Zamit, an ed-tech startup is providing its disposable glovers to its cleaners. Also, they have kept different time slots for people to have lunch in the pantry. The company has also made arrangement for face masks for all its employees.

    3) Food technology startups Swiggy and Zomato have launched contactless delivery option to food orders for their customers as an initiative to curb COVID-19 spread. The process is simple. All you have to do is place an order for a meal with any of the Zomato or Swiggy partner restaurants and select the Contactless Delivery option for your food order while checking out. The delivery executive will deliver the food package at a clean place on a table or a platform outside your home, click its photo and send it to you so that you can safely pick it up and enjoy your meal by following social distancing.
