Calicut, Wednesday, February 3, 2021: Neuberg Diagnostics, one of the fastest growing lab chains, paid tribute to frontline workers who had put their lives on the line to help others during the COVID-19 pandemic. At an event arranged in the city, the company, in the presence of the chief guest, Honorable Minister for Transport, A K Saseendran, acknowledged their fight against COVID-19 by presenting mementos and COVID-protection kits to frontline workers from various healthcare, police, education and other government departments.
Mr. Saseendran said, “My sincere thanks to all frontline workers who are protecting us and putting their lives in danger every single day. We have done a commendable job in containing the COVID-19 virus so far and this would not have been possible without your efforts.”
Ms. Aishwarya Vasudevan, Group COO, Neuberg Diagnostics, said, “We are short of words to express our gratitude to our fellow countrymen who selflessly carried out their duties during the pandemic. As a humble gesture to recognise their relentless efforts, we have organised this ceremony. We are celebrating our Corona Crusaders who have come forward to serve the nation.”
Present at the event were the District Collector, Mayor, District Panchayat President, Corporation Secretary, City Police Chief, Rural Police Chief, Medical College Principal, Medical College Superintendent, and the Hospital Superintendent, among others.
