New Delhi: Hero Motocorp Limited said on Saturday that it has inaugurated the first training center for women at the Industrial Training Institute (ITI) in Ambala, Haryana.
This center of excellence for women will build skills among women at ITI Ambala, Haryana. The center, launched in collaboration with the Department of Skill Development and Industrial Training, Government of Haryana and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), aims to increase employment opportunities for women in the automotive industry.
A company statement said that women will be given industrial training in a fully functional technician training laboratory established under this association. This program (an initiative) has been launched under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of Hero MotoCorp. Two-wheeler rides will also be imparted training to women in this center.
