New Delhi: To boost the domestic paper industry, the government is going to curb paper imports. According to sources, the government may make registration necessary for paper imports.
According to information quoting sources, the Commerce Ministry is theoretically agreed on this. Notification will be released soon in this regard.
The paper industry also demanded this from the government. During registration, it will be necessary to state the price, quantity, quality of paper imports. Special fees will also have to be paid for registration.
Explain that the government has made such an arrangement to tighten the screws on steel imports. A steel import monitoring system is built. There will also be a system for paper import along the same lines.
