The central government on Tuesday lifted the ban on export of L-95 masks. Information about this has been issued by the Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT). It works under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The government has lifted the ban on exports to promote the export of masks made in the country. Earlier, in August, the central government had set a limit of 50 lakh units every month for the export of masks in view of the country’s needs against the corona epidemic.
The DGFT has stated in its notification that N-95 / FFP-2 is removing all restrictions imposed on masks and other similar masks and can now be exported independently.
