New Delhi: The country’s economy is going through a very bad phase due to the Corona virus epidemic. As a result of this loss to the economy, about 12.2 million Indians have lost their jobs from March 2020 to April 2020.

According to the news of the Indian Express, the report of online platform Coursera mentions that the corona epidemic has had a huge impact in the fields of business, technology, and data science worldwide. It is clear that due to this sector being affected, a large number of people in the country have lost their jobs.

The epidemic has affected the lives of more than 555 million workers and 200 million higher education students worldwide. In India, the unemployment rate reached 27.1 percent in early May, as around 122 million Indians lost their jobs between March and April.

As the 37.5 million students in the Corona epidemic have suddenly fallen out of the situation like a sudden recession in the market, Coursera claims that most of them are trying to stay relevant by increasing their skills through skill courses.
