New Delhi: Hyundai, the country’s second-largest carmaker, recently announced an update to its vehicles as per the new BS6 standard. After which the company started booking the BS6 version of its existing models Elite i20, Grand i10 and Venue.
According to media reports, the price of the new BS6 Hyundai i20 has been revealed, its price is between Rs 6.49 lakh to Rs 8.31 lakh. At present, only petrol version prices have been revealed.
No information about its diesel version could be found. According to the report published in Autocar, along with this new update, there has been a big change in the list of variants of this premium hatchback car. This new car will not be available in some variants, although it is yet to be officially announced.
It is being told that according to different variants, the price of new BS6 Hyundai i20 has increased from Rs 15,000 to Rs 90,000. As far as updates on this car are concerned, the company can present this car with some new changes. The company is expected to include new audio systems, LED daytime running lights, electric wing mirrors and air con AC vents.
Although the details of the features have not been revealed yet, in the top variant of this car, the company can also provide features such as 7.0-inch touch screen infotainment system, climate control and reverse camera.
In the new BS6 Hyundai i20, the company will use a 1.2-liter capacity petrol engine, which was also used in the company’s second model Grand i10 Nios.
This engine generates power of 83hp and torque of 114Nm. However, no official announcement has been made about its power output and mileage. The company is going to launch its new generation Hyundai Creta in the market on 17 March.
