Bike manufacturer Hero MotoCorp has started sending its much awaited bike Extreme 160R to dealerships. Now the company has also given information about its price. This bike has been launched in the market with single disc and double disc two variants. Both variants of the bike are equipped with single channel ABS.
Hero Extreme 160R has a 160cc air-cooled engine with fuel-injection system. This bike generates 15 bhp power at 8500 rpm and 14 Nm peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
The bike comes with a 5-speed gearbox. According to the company’s claim, this bike can accelerate from 0-60 kilometers per hour in 4.7 seconds.
This new bike from Hero features LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED side turn indicators, H-signature LED tail lamps, full-digital instrument cluster and side-stand-down engine cut-off function.
The Hero’s bike has telescopic forks in the front and 7-step adjustable monoshock suspension in the rear. Both variants of this bike have disc brakes at the front. At the same time, the dual disc variant also has a disc brake at the rear. The bike has 17-inch wheels.
Talking about the price of Hero Extreme 160R, the price of its single disc variant is Rs 99,950 and the price of double disc variant is Rs 1.03 lakh. This bike competes with motorcycles like Bajaj Pulsar NS160, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Suzuki Gixxer 150.
