We have now decided that the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana will now be extended till Diwali and Chhath Puja i.e. the end of November.
During these five months, 80 cr people will be given 5 kg wheat or 5 kg rice free by the government. Apart from this, one kg of gram will also be given free to each family. 90 thousand crore rupees will be spent in this scheme. If you add the expenses for the last three months, then it becomes Rs 1.50 lakh crore.
