The company has made several major changes to the newly updated TVS Radeon, which improves both its performance and mileage. The starting price of this bike has been fixed at Rs 58,992 while the top model is priced at Rs 64,992.
In the new BS6 TVS Radeon, the company has made the biggest change in its fuel injected system. This bike has replaced the carburetor used in the previous model with new fuel injection technology. Which improves the mileage of the bike. In this bike, the company has used 109.7 cc engine with the new BS6 standard. Which generates power of 8.08 bhp and torque of 8.7 Nm.
However, after this update, the power output of the engine has been reduced by about 0.22 bhp. It includes a 4 speed gearbox. Apart from engine updates, the company has not made any other changes in the shape etc. of this bike. In the new TVS Radeon, the company has used ET-Fi (Ecothrust Fuel Injection) technology which plays the most important role in improving the mileage of the bike.
The company claims that this bike will provide full 15 percent more mileage than the previous BS4 model. The company claims that this bike will provide mileage of up to 69.3 kilometers per liter. It has a fuel tank of 10 liters capacity. That is, once in a full tank this bike will be able to run for about 650 kilometers. Keep in mind that the mileage of the bike depends to a large extent on the driving style and maintenance.
The weight of the new BS6 TVS Radeon has increased by almost 4 kg, its disc brake variant weighs 118 kg and the drum brake variant weighs 116 kg. This bike is available for sale in 6 colors in total. This bike is very famous in the commuter segment and in the market, this bike directly competes with Hero Splendor.
