    Central Bank launches ‘Rupe Select’ contactless debit card with NPCI

    New Delhi: Central Bank of India, in association with National Payments Corporation of India, has launched a new version of the contactless debit card ‘Rupe Select’ on the occasion of its foundation day.

    In a statement issued here today, the bank said that this new form of debit select card has been made keeping in mind the lifestyle, fitness, entertainment, nutrition and personal care needs of the consumer. The bank’s managing director and CEO Pallav Mohapatra launched it in a virtual event with NPCI MD and CEO Dilip Asbe.

    The Central Bank RuPay Debit Select Card comes with unique features such as the facility to use more than 20 domestic and more than 500 international lounges as well as insurance cover up to Rs 10 lakh for casual and permanent disability.

    Central Bank Rupe Select Debit Card users will be provided with complimentary membership in golf courses, gyms, spas and restaurants and at concessional rates. With the help of this National Common Mobility Debit Card (NCMC), they will be able to get health checkups at cheap prices. Also with the help of the card, retail or transit purchases in offline mode will also be made easier.
