    6 out of top 10 companies, mcap increased by Rs 1.06 lakh crore

    New Delhi: The market capitalization (M cap) of six of the 10 top valued companies in the country increased by Rs 1,06,523.84 crore last week. ICICI Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the biggest gainers. Reliance Industries Ltd., out of the ten valuable companies in terms of market capitalization. (RIL), HDFC Bank, HDFC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank were in profit. On the other hand four companies Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Hindustan Unilever Ltd. (HUL), Infosys and ITC were at a loss.

    ICICI Bank was the biggest gainer in terms of MCAP and its market cap jumped by Rs 26,620.32 crore to reach Rs 2,82,550.05 crore. Kotak Mahindra Bank’s market capitalization increased by Rs 25,360.91 crore to Rs 2,90,458.09 crore, RIL increased by Rs 21,458.89 crore to Rs 13,41,164.42 crore, HDFC Bank rose by Rs 16,547.52 crore to Rs 6,13,598.67 crore, HDFC increased by Rs 14,599.47 crore to Rs 3. , Rs 37,472.45 crore and Bharti Airtel’s MCAP rose by Rs 1,936.73 crore to reach Rs 2,85,625.71 crore.

    On the other hand, HUL’s MCAP declined by Rs 11,982.71 crore to Rs 5,05,658.41 crore, Infosys fell by Rs 5,963.14 crore to Rs 3,98,188.66 crore, while TCS’s MCAP decreased by Rs 4,165.15 crore to Rs 8,39,445.98 crore and ITC’s market cap decreased by Rs 1,661.13 crore. 2,40,619 crore.
